Bookcases/Display Cabinets
Our Bookcases and Display Cabinets can be made with a number of different variations which can significantly change the look of the piece. For bookcases the back would usually have a plain wooden back with wooden shelving. For display cabinets the back of the piece can be a plain wooden or it can have a fabric, silk or mirror backing. Shelving can be either wooden or glass and lighting can be added to enhance the display. On both bookcases and display cabinets the doors can be astragal glazed. The front can be either flat front or breakfront. Finally, the base can be either on bracket feet or a plinth.
Combined Bookcases and Display Cabinets can make a wonderful addition to a dining room or living room giving you ample storage as well as a traditional period look. Other pieces of furniture used to store books include revolving bookcases and open bookcases.
